Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation to exploit the mineral resources of the SANDY quarry of Liivalaia V submitted by Osaühing C.B.A. (registry code: 10495273) (address Harju County, Tallinn, Nõmme Municipality, Männiku tee 104a) has been accepted. The permit is applied for in the Tallinn-Saku sandy deposit (registry card No 0109) for the extraction of building and filling sand in sandy quarries in sandy. The mountain allocation of the sandy quarry of sandy V is located in the state-owned gamble exercise field in the village of Männik in Harju County, Saxu County (cadastral mark 71801:001:0982).

The applicant's mountain allocation has an area of 7.75 ha and the service area of the mountain allocation is 10,80 ha. The active consumption of building sand is 162 thousand m ³, of which the extracted stock is 153 thousand m ³ and the active consumption of aggregate sand is 768 thousand m ³, of which the extracted stock is 535 thousand m ³. An average annual extraction rate of 60 thousand m ³ is requested. Mineral resources are used in general and road construction. The period of validity of the requesting authorisation shall be until 01.01.2030.

The application is available digitally in the document management system of the Environment Agency, http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation for the extraction of mineral resources, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.

The preparation of the draft mining permit will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the official publication Ametlikud Teadaanded.
