Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation to exploit the sandy QUARRY of God IV by the public limited company express carrier (registry code: 10111516) (address Harju County, Harku Municipality, Lake Bank Road 1, 76902) has been accepted. The permit is applied for in the Tallinn-Saku sandy deposit (registry card No 0109) for the extraction of building sand in the God IV sandy pasture. The mountain deposit of God IV's sandy quarry is located in Harju County, Freistaat Sachu, Tammemäe village, in the cadastral district Viimsi district 10 (cadastral mark 71801:001:1351).

The applicant's mountain allocation is 15,57 ha and the service area for the mountain allocation is 18,30 ha. The active consumption of building sand is 3841 thousand m ³, of which the extracted stock is 2467 thousand m ³. An average annual extraction rate of 90 thousand m ³ is requested. Mineral resources are used in land construction, road construction and in the manufacture of concrete mixtures. The period of validity of the requesting authorisation shall be 30 years.

, until the decision to grant and refuse authorisation for the extraction of mineral resources is taken, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.

The preparation of the draft mining permit will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the official publication Ametlikud Teadaanded.
