Notice of partial repeal of a building plan

The Pärnu Linnavalitsus publishes a notice pursuant to paragraphs 140(5) and 139(3) of the planning Law (plans).

The Pärnu Linnavalitsus declares that, by Decision No 56 of the Pärnu City Council of 15 June 2017, the building plan of the territory of as Maseko, established by Decision No 60 of the Pärnu City Council of 18 September 2008, for the property of the Suur-Jõe tn 58, was repealed. The zoning area is approximately 20 ha. The area envisaged is situated on the left bank of the River Pärnu towards the centre of 300 m from the Papiniidu bridge, contiguous to the south-west of Riga mnt, to the east of the street of Lao, to the north of the River Pärnu and to the slope of the west.

Most of the planned area was formed by the former territory of the Maseko fishing industry, together with production buildings which have been dismantled to date. The zoning plan was drawn up with the aim of eliminating the old and depreciated production area in the immediate vicinity of the city centre and creating a modern and attractive environment for life, business and leisure. The entire existing building is intended to be demolished on the land and a building right has been created for the construction of residential/commercial land.

Today, there has been a need to build an extension on 58 pieces of land on the Great River to serve an existing building in Kanpol's shop-warehouse. The purpose of the repeal of the zoning plan as regards the property of the Suur-Jõe tn 58 is to enable the property OÜ of Kanpol to resolve the issues relating to the existing building on the site until a new zoning plan is reached. The additions to that refrigeration room and to the reception and storage area have become indispensable for the continuation of the activity.
