The Ministry of the Environment publishes a notice under paragraph 3 ² (2) of the water Law (⁰).
By order No 709 of 29 June 2017, the Minister for the Environment initiated the preparation of a river basin management plan, a programme of measures and a flood risk management plan for the basins of Eastern Estonia, Western Estonia and Koiva.
For the purposes of drawing up river basin management plans, the following documents shall be prepared, submitted to a public display lasting six months and, after a public display has been carried out, submitted to the River Basin Management Commission for approval no later than the following deadlines:

(1) the timetable and work plan for drawing up the river basin management plan, the programme of measures and the flood risk management plan - 22.11.2018;
(2) review of major water management problems - 22.11.2019;
3. the draft River Basin Management Plan, the Programme of measures of the River Basin Management Plan and the Flood risk Management Plan - 22.11.2021.
