Notice of initiation of a prospecting permit procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).

The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation to prospect for the exploration room in Jägala VIII submitted by Osaühing Ruu village Mines Mines Association (registry code: 14361003) (address: Tammiku, Ruu village, Jõelähtme Municipality, Harju County, 74223) (registered under document management system 06.11.2017 No 12-2/17/12614 of the Environment Agency) has been accepted.

The geological survey is requested in the municipality of Jõelähtme, Harju, in the village of Jägala, for the private cadastral parcel Tammiku (cadastritID 24504:008:0082). The area covered by the requested survey room is 8.75 ha. The geological study shall be carried out in order to clarify the possibilities of exploiting and extracting the material (building limestone) present in the exploration room in Jägala VIII. This is a consumable stock survey, which plans to build 8 wells. The research depth is 20 m. for the sake of completeness, it is planned to carry out the following ad hoc work in the course of the study: laboratory testing of the rock, topographic measurement. The study is carried out by Maavarauuringud OÜ (registry code 14346587, address sand tn 41, Tartu City, Tartu County, 50303).

The application shall be digitally accessible from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/

until a decision to grant or refuse authorisation for prospecting has been taken, everyone shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address pohja@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.

The draft decision to grant or refuse authorisation for prospecting shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
