The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).

The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation to Silikaat for the Piirsalu exploration room submitted by as silicate (registry code: 10022296) (address Silikaltsiidi 8, Tallinn, Harju County, 11216) (registered in the Environment Agency's document management system 21.12.2017 under document number 12-2/17/14134) has been accepted.

The geological survey is requested in the village Kose in Harju, County, for a state-owned cadastral division Piirsalu quarry (cadastritID 36302:001:0710) owned by the Republic of Estonia, managed by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications and authorised by the Road Administration. The area covered by the requested survey room is 3.92 ha. The geological survey shall be carried out in order to clarify the possibilities of exploiting and extracting the material present in the Piirsalu exploration room (construction and filling sand, construction and filling gravel). This is a consumable stock survey which plans to build up up up to 10 wells. The research depth is up to 25 m. for the sake of completeness, the study plans to carry out the following ad hoc work: Determination of the steel composition of the material, of the physico-mechanical properties of the filtration module and of the gravel; topographic measurements. The survey is carried out by OÜ Inseneribüroo STEIGER (registry code 11206437, address Männiku tee 104, Tallinn, Harju County, 11216).

The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation for a prospecting operation, any person shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address pohja@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.

The draft decision to grant or refuse authorisation for prospecting shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
