The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).

The Environment Agency States that the application for a geological exploration licence submitted by Osaühing Thorsen Grupp (registry code: 10693955) (address: tehno 6, Municipality of lesser Maarja 46202 Western Virumaa) has been accepted.

Authorisation for geological exploration shall be sought for gravel and sand in the Loksa exploration room. The research area and its catchment area, with a surface area of 20.11 ha, is located in the village of Mäepealse (UNIT 78701:004:0134) and the village of Kasemäe (UNIT 78701:004:0840) in the municipality of Loksa in Lääne-Viru. The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 2 years. The survey is carried out by OÜ mineral exploration.

The application for authorisation to prospect and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest office of the Environment Agency.
The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse a geological exploration licence, any person shall have the right to submit to the Environment Agency reasoned proposals and objections to the application. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216, Tallinn.

The draft geological exploration licence shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the official publication Ametlikud Teadaanded.
