Notice of initiation of a prospecting permit procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).
The Environment Agency States that the application for a geological survey permit submitted by EMG Arendus OÜ (registration code: 14212964) (address Harju County, Kuusalu Municipality, Kiiu Province, Vana-Narva mnt 11b) to the Valistre III Research Centre has been accepted.
The geological survey is requested in Pärnu County, in the municipality of Pärnu, in the village of Valistre, on an immovable property owned by the Republic of Estonia on 49 properties of Halinga (cadastral identification: 18803:002:0033), the management of which is the Ministry of the Environment and the authorised authority of the State Forest Management Centre. The area covered by the requested survey room is 7.80 ha. The purpose of the proposed exploration is to clarify the distribution conditions, composition and technological characteristics of natural deposits, including mineral resources, and to determine the potential uses of the exploratory natural deposits, including mineral resources. One part of the study is to determine the hydrological conditions of the test room and its surroundings. There are plans to build up up up to 10 wells and exploration distances of up to 20 m. the resources to be studied are building dolomite. The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 2 years. The test room is called the Valistre III test room. The study is carried out by EMG Arendus OÜ.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation for a prospecting operation, any person shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the info@keskkonnaamet.ee e-mail address or to the postal address Paala tee 4, 71014 iljandi.
The draft prospecting permit shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
