The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that THE request FOR amendment of the ENVIRONMENTAL permit for the mining OF the GRAVEL quarry of Malaeva II, Harkujärve by the stone carrier OÜ (registry code: 11200972) (address Harjumaa, village of Harkujärvi, Lake Converse Road 1, 76902) has been accepted.

According to the application, propose an extension of the mining permit for 10 years on the ground that the mineral resources have not been exhausted and that the extracted resources have not been restored.

The mountain and service areas of the Maleva II gravel quarry are located in the village of Kaasiko eramaa in the municipality of Tapa in Kaasiko Viru (cadastral identification 40001:001:0021). The areas covered by the mountain allocation are 7.73 ha and the areas covered by the mountain allocation are 9.38 ha. The mountain allocation includes the active consumption of the building gravel in block 3 and the active consumption of the building gravel in block 4 of the fully malting gravel deposit (registry card No 0506).

The environmental permit application and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest Office of the Environment Agency.
The application is available digitally in the document management system of the Environment Agency, http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until a decision is taken to amend an environmental permit, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216, Tallinn.

The draft decision amending the environmental permit shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
