The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).
The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation to PROSPECT for THE Saunja exploration room submitted by EMG Development OÜ (registration code: 14212964) (address: municipality of Kuusalu, Kiiu subregion, Vana-Narva mnt 11b, 74604) 03.01.2020 has been accepted.
The application for a geological survey is made in the municipality of Kuusalu, Harju, on the private land of Kivisilla in the village of Saunja (cadastral identification: 35201:003:0515). The area of the survey room applied for and its catchment area is 5.23 ha. The purpose of the geological exploration shall be to clarify the distribution conditions, composition and technological characteristics of natural deposits, including mineral resources, and to determine the potential uses of the natural deposits to be studied, including mineral resources, by means of well well-outs. One part of the study is to determine the hydrological conditions of the test room and its surroundings. Hydrogeological test work shall consist of measuring water levels, pumping and, where appropriate, other test work.
The mineral resources under consideration are building limestone. The geological survey shall provide for the construction of up to 10 wells with a test depth of up to 20 m. in addition, it is planned to carry out the following ad-hoc work: laboratory tests, topogodetic measurements, water level measurements and, where appropriate, other test activities. The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 2 years.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse a permit for prospecting, any person shall have the right to submit to the Environment Agency reasoned proposals and objections to the application. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to an e-mail address in info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to a postal address at Viljandi Road 16, 11214 Tallinn.
The draft prospecting permit shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
