The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency reports that AN application by DER Group OÜ (registry code: 14047241) (address Pärnu County, Pärnu City, Pärnu City, Papiniidu tn 27-20) for an environmental permit for the sand quarry in BAT III has been accepted.

The environmental permit is requested in Pärnu County, Saarde, village Laiksaare, covering the fully private Vana-Peiaru property (cadastral sign 78201:001:0263).

The area of the mountain deposit for the quarry of sandy III of the claimed crop is 15.23 ha and the area of the service area of the mountain deposit is 17.31 ha. The extracted minerals are, according to the application, building sand (an active consumable stock of 196 thousand m ³ and an excavated reserve of 188 thousand m ³) and the intended use of the minerals is for the preparation of building mixtures and for use in road and civil engineering works. The average annual extraction rate applied for is 13 thousand m ³. An environmental permit is requested for a period of 15 years.

Until the decision to grant or refuse an environmental permit is taken, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. The preparation of the draft environmental permit shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the official publication Ametlikud Teadaanded.
