Majandus- ja Kommunikatsiooniministeerium publishes this announcement under Paragraph 8(1) of Decree No 86 of the Government of the Republic of 07.11.2019 entitled “conditions and modalities for a minimum bid for energy production from renewable energy sources and efficient cogeneration”.

The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications organises the marginal loss referred to in paragraph 59 (6) of the electricity market Act in order to bring additional 5 GWh/a of energy to the market in a calendar year and to find a renewable energy source with less than 1 MW of electrical power at the most favourable rate by the deadline of 01.09.2021. The bidder Elering AS will submit the list of eligible bidders to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications no later than 23.11.2020, after which the bidder will submit to the Government of the Republic within ten days a list of bidders to be awarded the subsidy. The minimum bid is made in the notice of a minimum bid for the production of energy from renewable energy sources (enclosed).
