Keskkonnaamet publishes this announcement under Section 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

Keskkonnaamet declares that LignaMets OÜ (registry code: 10476666) (address Teguri 37b, Tartu linn, 50107 Tartu maakond) the application for an environmental permit for the mountain allocation of the Kibuna II gravel quarry, submitted by the applicant on 13.05.2020, has been granted.

The environmental permit is applied for in the village of Kibuna, Harju County, in the municipality of Saue, for the private cadastral title Otsarimetsa (cadastral identification: 29702:001:0046, intended purpose: 100% arable land).

The mountain allocation of the requested Kibuna II gravel quarry is situated on the Kibuna deposit (registry card No 976), including the active commercial storage of the filling gravel in block 3. The area of the mountain allocation of the Kibuna II gravel quarry applied for is 5.31 ha and that of the service area of the mountain allocation is 5.87 ha. The extracted mineral is, according to the application, an aggregation crucible (an active consumable reserve of 121 thousand m3 and a extracted stock of 114 thousand m3). The quantity of coating to be mined is 11 h m3, including the quantity of soil 11 h m3. The intended use of the mineral resource is construction and road construction. The average annual extraction rate applied for is 10 thousand m3. According to the explanatory memorandum to the application, the land converted by mining is to be converted into wooded land. An environmental permit is requested for a period of 15 years.
