Keskkonnaamet publishes this announcement under paragraph 30(2) of the Rural Law (MaaPS).
 
Keskkonnaamet announces, that Päide Liiv OÜ (registry code: 14856070) (address Kiigemäe, Päide küla, Rakvere vald, Lääne-Viru maakond 44418)the application for authorisation to prospect for the Velts II exploration room submitted by the applicant on 09.12.2019 has been accepted.

The request for a geological survey would be made in the district of Western Viru, in the municipality of Rakvere, in the village of Päide, on a privately owned Kiigemäe site (66101:001:0194). The area covered by the requested survey room is 1.97 ha. The geological survey shall be carried out in order to specify the conditions, quality and quantity of mineral resources present in the survey room. If, as a result of the geological survey, an active mineral consumption is confirmed in the site, Päide Liiv OÜ wishes to apply for mining usufruct rights there.

This is a consumable stock survey, which plans to build up up to 8 wells and up to 8 excavation voids. The research depth shall be no more than 15 metres. In addition, the study plans to carry out the following ad hoc work: determination of steel composition, physico-mechanical tests, topographical measurements and measurement of water levels in mines. The survey is carried out by OÜ J.Viru Markšeideribüroo (registry code: 11644539, address: Tartu mnt 84a-50, city centre, Tallinn, 10112 Harju County). The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 3 years.
