Keskkonnaamet publishes this announcement under Section 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).
Keskkonnaamet declares that AS Tariston (registry code: 10887843) (address Harju maakond, Tallinn, Põhja-Tallinna linnaosa, Toompuiestee 35, 10149) the request for amendment of the environmental permit for the extraction of mineral resources submitted by the applicant was granted on 21.10.2020.
The request for modification of the authorisation to exploit the sandy quarry is made in the municipality of Türi, Järva, pala village, in the sandpastry fields of the Livamäe (registry card No 0549) for the private cadastral parcels Lutsu (cadastritus 83601:002:1710), tank tree (cadastral mark 83601:002:0561) and sandamäe (cadastral mark 83601:002:2231).
The surface area of the mountain deposit for the sandy pasture of the Gulf II (mining permit No JARM-024) is 14.40 ha and the surface area of the mountain deposit is 19.85 ha. The extracted mineral is building sand and filler sand. As of 30.09.2020, the quantities of ice cream of the blocks to be covered by the Mount allocation are as follows:
Block 4 — building sand 9,506 ash. m3,
Block 5 — building sand 129,438 ash. m3,
Block 6 — filler sand 5,183 ash. m3,
Block 7 — filler sand 90,009 ash. m3,
Block 8 — building sand 22,929 ash. m3,
Block 9 — filling sand 48,025 ash. m3.
The purpose of the exploitation of the extracted mineral is road, environmental and general construction. Building sand is used in road drainage layers. Filling sand for the construction of road embankments and for the filling of earth. The quantity of coating to be extracted is 136 thousand m3, of which soils are 36 thousand m3. The average production volume per year is 40 thousand m3 under the licence and 35 thousand m3 under the request for amendment of the mining permit. The mining permit is valid until 27.01.2022 and is to be extended until 27.01.2029 (i.e. for 7 years).

Until the amendment or refusal of an environmental permit decision is made, any person has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the On the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to an e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to a postal address Kuusiku tee 6, 79511, Rapla.
The draft of Decision amending the environmental permit will be announced by the Environmental Agency in the Official Announcements.
