Keskkonnaamet publishes this announcement under paragraph 30(2) of the Rural Law (MaaPS).
 
Keskkonnaamet announces, that SANDPIT OÜ (registry code: 11318414) (address Mäe tn 7, Põltsamaa linn, Põltsamaa vald, 48105 Jõgeva maakond)the application for authorisation to prospect for the Kurista II exploration room submitted by Mr 28.03.2022 has been accepted.

The exploration licence is requested for the cadastral parcels Vaimastvere district 24 (register part No 13422150, cadastral identification No 24802:006:0780) and Vaimastvere district 72 (register part No 11916150, cadastral identification No 24802:006:0740), in the municipality of Jõgeva, in the village of Kurista.

The proposed study aims at identifying the volume and quality of sediment (sand and/or gravel) in the test room at the level of consumption. Mineral resources are to be used for road construction and construction works in the area. The area covered by the requested Kurista II trial room is 13,14 ha. This is a consumables survey, which plans to build up up up to 25 wells and up to 25 exploration voids with an exploration depth of up to 10 m. the exploitable minerals are gravel and sand. In addition, the study plans to carry out the following hydrogeological pilot and other ad hoc work: measurement of water levels, samples for the determination of the steel composition, determination of the resistance of the chippings to breakage, twin work. The period of validity of the authorization applied for shall be five years. The study is carried out by Maavarauuringud OÜ (Registry code 14346587, address sand tn 41, Tartu City, Tartu City, Tartu County).
