Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the request submitted by OÜ KEDOKA (registry code: 11348812) (address: Maasikmäe 6, village of Puiga, vald of Võru, County of Võru, 65502) for extension of the gravel quarry of Hillepi (registered under document management system of the Environment Agency 29.12.2016 No 12-2/16/15183) has been accepted. The authorisation number for the extraction of the mineral reserves of the hillept gravel quarry is SAAM-012. Mountain allocation is to be expanded laterally (immediately to the south).
The mountain allocation of the hillept gravel quarry is located in the village Palometsa in Võru, County Võru, cadastral district Hillepi (cadastral identification 91804:004:0257) and the requested mountain allocation extension is located in the cadastral district Kivi (cadastral identification 91804:004:0435) in the village Palometsa, County Võru,
.The mountain allocation of the extended Hillept gravel quarry is 6,84 ha and the service area of the mountain deposit is 6,99 ha. According to the application for authorisation for the extraction of mineral resources, the amount of active consumption of the building gravel for mining reserves is 247.4 thousand m ³. The stock being extracted is 235,4 thousand m ³ in the building gravel. The amount of active consumable stock of building sand in the mountain allocation was 56 thousand m ³. The stock to be extracted is 53 thousand m ³ of building sand. An average annual extraction rate of 20 thousand m ³ is requested. The applications of mineral resources include road construction and construction blends. The period of validity applied for is 15 years.

The application for authorisation to exploit mineral resources and other relevant documents can be consulted at the Office of the Environment Agency, Võru (flock 17a, 65608 Võru; louna@keskkonnaamet.ee; 680 7914).
The application is available in digital form at the http://dhs-ADR kea.envir.ee/ until

the decision to grant or refuse authorisation has been taken, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to an e-mail address at the louna@keskkonnaamet.ee or postal address at herd 17a, 65608.

The preparation of the draft mining permit will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
