Notice of initiation of a general geological exploration permit procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).

The Environment Agency States that the application for a general geological exploration licence submitted by Osaühing Eesti Klustik (registry code: 10126848) (Rõstla quarry, Rõstla village, Põltsamaa municipality, Jõgeva County, 48022) was granted to
.
The general geological exploration licence for the Järvakand exploration room is applied for in the cadastral parcel cadastral district 4 (cadastral identification: 26001:001:0420), in the municipality of Järvakandi, in the province of Järvakandi, in Rapla, and the cadastral parcel of cadastral parcel 2 (cadastral identification: 29203:001:0410), in the village of backwards, in the municipality of Kehtna. The requested survey area also includes 53,01 ha of national reserve area with border proposal No AT0805090187 (RMK). The cadastral parcels are owned by the Republic of Estonia, the Government is the Ministry of the Environment and the authorised authority is the State Riigimetsa Majandamise Keskus (RMK)

The area covered by the test room is 100,02 ha. The purpose of the general geological survey shall be to search for gravel in the survey room and to determine the geological and mountainous conditions. In the course of the research, it is planned that up to 25 exploration voids will be created. The investigation depth shall be no more than 6 m. the period of validity of the permit applied for shall be 4 years. The research is carried out by OÜ Inseneribüroo STEIGER.

The application for a general geological exploration licence and other relevant documents can be consulted at the Office of the Environment Agency in Rapla (Tallinna mnt 14, 79513, Rapla; pohja@keskkonnaamet.ee; 484 1171).
The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to authorise or refuse authorisation for general geological exploration, any person shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to an e-mail address at the pohja@keskkonnaamet.ee or postal address Tallinna mnt 14, 79513, Rapla.

The preparation of a draft permit for general geological exploration shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
