The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).

The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation to prospect for the Kikepera II exploration room submitted on 27.01.2017 by OÜ RTG Tees (registry code: 12475010) (address Seljametsa Tea 3, Paikuse Ave, Municipality of Paikuse, County Pärnu) (registered under document management system of the Environment Agency No 30.01.2017 No 12-2/17/1825) has been accepted.
The request for a geological survey is made in the municipality of Pärnu, Surju, on a privately owned land in the village of Kikepera, Kikepere (cadastritID 75601:006:0041). The landowner has consented to the prospecting being carried out. The area covered by the requested survey room is 8.00 ha. The purpose of the study is to conduct a survey on the consumption of mineral resources (construction and filling sand and construction and filling cruises), specifying the geological construction of the exploration room, the thickness of the useful layer, the distribution, quality and extraction conditions of the mineral resources in order to assess the quantity of mineral resources as an active commercial resource for which mining permission could be sought. The study plans to build up up to 10 wells and up to 20 exploration outlets with a depth of up to 8 m. in addition, the study plans to carry out the following ad hoc work: determination of the steel composition of the material, the physico-mechanical properties of the filtration module and the gravel; topographic measurement. The survey is carried out by OÜ Inseneribüroo STEIGER (registry code 11206437, address Männiku tee 104, 11216 Tallinn). The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 2 years.

The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse a permit for prospecting, any person shall have the right to submit to the Environment Agency reasoned proposals and objections to the application. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the louna@keskkonnaamet.ee e-mail address or to the postal address Paala tee 4, 71014 iljandi.

The draft decision to grant or refuse authorisation for prospecting shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
