Notice of initiation of a prospecting permit procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).

The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation to PROSPECT for the Tammistu exploration room submitted by as TREV-2 Group (registry code: 10047362) (address Pärnu mnt 463, 10916 Tallinn) 07.02.2017 (registered under document Management system 09.02.2017 No 12-1/17/2331 of the Environment Agency) has been accepted.
The geological survey is requested in Pärnu, County Varbla, in the village of dog, in the State-owned cadastral division Varbla, district 63 (cadastral mark 86302:003:0056), which is managed by the Ministry of the Environment and an authorised authority by the State Riigimetsa Majandamise Keskus. The area covered by the requested survey room is 39.60 ha. The proposed geological survey shall be carried out in order to clarify the possibilities of exploiting and extracting material (sand, gravel) present in the survey area: explore the conditions of distribution, composition and properties of the mineral in such detail as to enable extraction and determine the potential uses of the mineral under investigation, as well as the hydrogeological conditions of the exploration facility and its surroundings and their possible modification during extraction. As TREV-2 Group (registry code 11402434, address Pärnu mnt 463, 10916 Tallinn) is planning to build up up up up to 40 wells and up to 40 exploration voids with a depth of up to 15 m. The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 2 years.

The application for a geological survey permit and other relevant documents can be consulted at the Office of the Environment Agency in Viljandi, South Region (Paala Tea 4, 71014 Viljandi, louna@keskkonnaamet.ee, 435 5610).
The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse a permit for prospecting, any person shall have the right to submit to the Environment Agency reasoned proposals and objections to the application. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the louna@keskkonnaamet.ee e-mail address or to the postal address Paala tee 4, 71014 iljandi.

The draft decision to grant or refuse authorisation for prospecting shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
