Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency notifies that SANDPIT OÜ (registry code: 11318414) (address: Mäe 7, 48105 Põltsamaa) is applying for an amendment to the mining authorisation No. TARM-058 for the deposit of the sandy quarry of Väg II.

The mountain allocation of the fast II sandy quarry is located in the rural district of Tartu in the village of Selgis in the state-owned cadastral parcels of Väg's sandy quarry K2 (cadastritus 86101:004:0038) and Väg's quarry 2 (cadastritus 86101:004:0043) in the field of the field of the field of the field of the field of the field of the sandy-Selgis (reg.nr 0224).

The mountain allocation of the peaks II is 4.47 ha and the service area of the mountain allocation is 4.91 ha. As of 01.01.2017, the active consumption of building sand associated with mining reserves was 176 thousand m ³, of which 156 thousand m ³ are mined and the active consumption of aggregate sand was 212 thousand m3, of which 127 thousand m3 are mined. An average annual extraction rate of 20 thousand m ³ is requested. The purpose of the mineral resource is construction, road construction and renovation. The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 15 years.

The decision to initiate the procedure for the request to modify the mining permit and other relevant documents can be consulted at the offices of the Environment Agency in Jõgeva (garden 2, Jõgeva, tel 776 2419, e-mail louna@keskkonnaamet.ee).
The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to an e-mail address in louna@keskkonnaamet.ee or to a postal address at garage 2, 48306 Jõgeva.

The draft decision amending the mining permit will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
