Notice of initiation of a prospecting permit procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).

The Environment Agency States that the APPLICATION for a PERMIT to PROSPECT for a gambler-IX Research room submitted by as TREV-2 Group (registry code: 10047362) (address Harju County, Tallinn, Nõmme district, Pärnu mnt 463,10916) on 20.03.2017 (registered under document management system of the Environment Agency No 20.03.2017 No 12-1/17/3479-4) has been accepted.

An application for a geological survey is made in Harju County, Freistaat Sachu, in the village of Männik, for a golden polygon (cadastral mark 71801:001:0983) owned by the State. The area covered by the requesting survey room is 34,23 ha. The geological study shall be carried out in order to clarify the possibilities of exploiting and extracting material present in the Gender's exploration room IX. The study shall explain the distribution conditions, composition and characteristics of the mineral in such detail as to enable extraction and determine the potential uses of the mineral under investigation. The study plans to build up up to 45 wells and up to 45 exploration cavities. The research depth is up to 20 m. in addition, the study plans to carry out the following ad hoc work: assess the hydrogeological conditions of the test room and its surroundings; topographic surveying, laboratory work. The survey is carried out by AS TREV-2 Group (registry code 10047362, address Pärnu mnt 463, Tallinn, Harju County, 10916).

The application for a geological survey permit and other relevant documents can be consulted at the Office of Harju in the Northern Region of the Environment Agency (Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn, põhja@keskkonnaamet.ee, 674 4800).
The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-KEA-envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation for a prospecting operation, any person shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address pohja@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.

The draft decision to grant or refuse authorisation for prospecting shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
