Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency reports that HMG Invest ja Holding OÜ (registry code: 11213147) (address Kurgoja tee 4, village of Saarde, Municipality of Saarde, 86213 Pärnu County) submitted an application for authorisation to exploit the sandy quarry of the forest village.

The sandy quarry of the forest village is located in the village of Great-Jaani in the village of Great-Jaani on the land of Saunamesa (cadastral identification 87001:003:0107) and Kruusa (cadastral identification 87001:003:0109).

The size of the mountain deposit of the forest village is 9.21 ha and the size of the service area of the mountain deposit is 9.21 ha. According to the application for authorisation for the extraction of mineral resources, the amount of the active consumable stock for building sand is 107 thousand m ³ and the extracted stock is 102 thousand m ³ and the amount of active consumable sand is 109 thousand m ³ and the extracted stock is 104 thousand m ³. The maximum annual mining rate is proposed at 15 thousand m3. Mineral use is in road and civil engineering. The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 15 years.

The decision to initiate the procedure for the application for authorisation to exploit mineral resources and other relevant documents can be consulted at the Office of the Environment Agency, Harju (Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn, e-mail address pohja@keskkonnaamet.ee, telephone 674 4800).
The application is available digitally in the document management system of the Environment Agency, http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address pohja@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.

The preparation of the draft mining permit will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
