Notice of initiation of a general geological exploration permit procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).

The Environment Agency States that the request for permission for general geological exploration submitted by Osaühing Eesti Kadaka tee Centre (registry code: 10140653) (address registered under document management system of the Environment Agency No 17.05.2017, No 12-2/17/6229, Mustamäe district, Tallinn, Harju district, 12618) was accepted.

The request for a general geological survey is made in Ida-Viru County, Vavara, village Sõtke, cadastral parcels Vavara District 55 (cadastral identification 85101:001:0565), owned by the Republic of Estonia, by the Ministry of the Environment and by the State Forest Management Centre (RMK) as an authorised authority.

The area covered by the survey room is 0.16 ha. The purpose of general geological exploration is to collect from underground stone material for biotechnological research. In the course of the research, it is planned to build one well of 45 m in depth. For the sake of completeness, a geophysical study in Puuraugu has been planned with different proformations. The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 2 years. The research work is carried out by the Osaühing in the Estonian Geological Centre.

The application for a general geological exploration licence and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest Office of the Environment Agency.
The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse permission for general geological exploration, any person shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 TALLINN.

The preparation of a draft permit for general geological exploration shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
