Notice of initiation of a general geological exploration permit procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).

The Environment Agency reports that AS TREV-2 Group (registry code: 10047362) (address Pärnu mnt 463, Nõmme district, Tallinn, 10916 Harju district) applies for a general geological exploration licence. Authorisation for the general geological exploration is sought for the State-owned cadastral parcels of property district 3 (cadastral mark 86101:004:0012) and district 5 (cadastral mark 86101:004:0007) in the district of Tartu in the village of Sääla, for which the State-owned property is managed by the Ministry of the Environment and an authorised authority by the State Forest Riigimetsa Majandamise Keskus. The requested test room consists of two solvent units, the total area served by the test room being 118,99 ha. The purpose of the exploration is to identify the distribution of mineral resources (sand, gravel), the thickness of the useful layer, the quality and the conditions of extraction in order to assess the quantity of mineral resources for which mining permission could be sought in the future. In the course of the research, it is planned to build up up to 40 wells and up to 40 exploration voids with a depth of up to 20 m. the period of validity of the permit applied for is 5 years. The name of the enquiry room is the enclosure of the cellant. The research is carried out by AS TREV-2 Group.

The application for a general geological exploration licence and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest office of the Environment Agency (tel 776 2419, e-mail info@keskkonnaamet.ee).
The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse permission for general geological exploration, any person shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the following e-mail address: info@keskkonnaamet.ee or postal address: AIA 2, Jõgeva City, 48306 County of Jõgeva.

The drafts of the authorization for general geological exploration shall be notified by the authors in an additional manner in the official gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
