Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation to exploit the mineral resources of THE Lake Sea route 1, Harkujärvi village, Harku County, Harju County, 76902, submitted by the public limited company express carrier (registry code: 10111516), has been accepted. Authorisation is sought in the Tallinn-Saku sandy deposit (registry card No 0109) for the extraction of building sand in the sandy quarry of sandy or sandy. The sand quarry or sandy quarry is located in Harju County, Freistaat Sachu, in the cadastral district of Modiland's polygon (cadastral mark 71801:001:0983).

The applicant's mountain allocation has an area of 14.25 ha and the service area of the mountain allocation is 14.25 ha. The active consumption of building sand is 750 thousand m ³, of which the extracted stock is 733 thousand m ³. An average annual extraction rate of 50 thousand m ³ is requested. Mineral resources are used in road construction and civil engineering. The period of validity of the requesting authorisation shall be 15 years.

The application is available digitally in the Register of documents of the Environment Agency http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation for mining, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.

The preparation of the draft mining permit will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the official publication Ametlikud Teadaanded.
