The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).
The Environment Agency States that the request for extension of the environmental permit for the extraction of the mineral resources of the Miila sand quarry submitted by Lasila Betoon (registry code: 10128422) (address: Lasila, village of Lasila, Municipality of Rakvere, County of West Viru, 44401) has been accepted.
The extension of the mining permit is requested in the district of Western Viru, in the municipality of Rägavere, in the village of Kõrma, for the State-owned cadastral unit Miila's quarry (cadastral mark 70201:003:0291). The area includes Miila's sandy deposit (registry card 0072) and a mountain deposit called Miila's sandpasture, an area of 2,93 ha of the mountain deposit and an area of 4,07 ha of the mountain deposit. According to the request for an extension of the period of validity of the mining permit, the amount of active consumption of mining sand is 132,7 thousand m ³ and the amount of excavated reserves is 118,6 thousand m ³. Mineral resources are used in building blends and road construction. The mining permit is to be extended for a period of 15 years.
The request for extension of the mining permit and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest Office of the Environment Agency (e-mail info@keskkonnaamet.ee, Tel. 569 95307, address J.Kunderi 18, Rakvere).
The application is available digitally in the Register of documents of the Environment Agency http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.
Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the following e-mail address: info @keskkonna amet or J.Kunderi 18, Rakvere 44307, County Western Viru.
The draft decision amending the mining permit will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
