The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).

The Environment Agency States that the request for authorisation of OÜ Grossi timber (registry code: 10721396) (address Uulu village, municipality of Tahkuranna, 86502 Pärnu County) for a geological survey of the Urissaare II prospecting room, 05.05.2017 (registered under document management system 12.05.2017 No 12-2/17/6040 of the Environment Agency), has been accepted.
The geological survey is requested in Pärnu, County Häädemeeste, for the properties belonging to the applicant in the village of Urissaare, LEPIKU (cadastral mark 21302:0033, new registration number 1896906), Ristiku (cadastral mark 21302:002:0170, new registration number 906106) and Helena (cadastritus 21302:002:0003, new registration number 1146406). The test room applied for consists of two solvent units, the total area served by the test room being 23.67 ha. The purpose of the study is to conduct a consumption inventory survey to determine the distribution of mineral resources (building sand and gravel), the thickness of the useful layer, the quality and the extraction conditions in order to assess the quantity of mineral resources as an active commercial resource for which mining permission could be sought. The study envisages the construction of up to 16 exploration voids with a depth of up to 8 m; other planned ad hoc work: laboratory work, topographical surveying; hydrogeological experimental work: measuring water levels. The survey is carried out by OÜ Inseneribüroo STEIGER (registry code 11206437, address Männiku tee 104, 11216 Tallinn). The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 2 years.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse a permit for prospecting, any person shall have the right to submit to the Environment Agency reasoned proposals and objections to the application. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the louna@keskkonnaamet.ee e-mail address or to the postal address Paala tee 4, 71014 iljandi.

The draft decision to grant or refuse authorisation for prospecting shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
