The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).

The Environment Agency hereby declares that the application for authorisation submitted by Enefit Mines AS (registry code: 10032389) (address: Jaama tn 10 Jõhvi, Municipality of Jõhvi, East Virumaa 41533) to prospect for the eastern part of the Puhatu site exploration area has been granted. Geological survey permit is applied for in East Viru, County Illuka, Kingdom village, Narva quarry 18 (cadastre 22901:006:0011), Narva quarry 19 (cadastre 22901:006:0007), Narva Vaivara 12 (cadastre 22901:006:0015), Narva quarry 20 (cadastral 22901:006:006:000021 and cadastral trap 2006:0021. The area served by the survey room applied for is 224,94 ha. This is a survey of the consumables of low - and well-degraded peat, where it is planned to build up up up to 98 wells with a research depth of up to 3 m. the validity of the permit applied for is 14 months. Once the authorisation for the study has been obtained, it will be decided whether the study will be procured or carried out by the authorisation holder.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation for a prospecting operation, any person shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.

The draft decision to grant or refuse authorisation for prospecting shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
