Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation to exploit mineral resources submitted by THE LIMITED COMPANY for FOREST IMPROVEMENT (registry code: 10224657) (address Pärnu mnt 153, Tallinn 10624) has been accepted.

Authorisation to exploit mineral resources is sought in the village of back in Pärnu, County Town, on the Põnts estate (cadastral mark 80801:001:0440). The owner of the land is a forest METSATERVENDUSE OSAÜHING. The area applied for is a recreational deposit (registry card No 0846).

The mountain allocation applied for is a backward gravel quarry, with an area of 1.67 ha and an area of 3.43 ha for the mountain allocation. According to the authorisation for the extraction of mineral resources, the active consumption of the building gravel of a mining deposit is 32 thousand m ³ and the extracted stock is 30 thousand m ³. The maximum annual mining rate is requested at 10 thousand m ³. The applications of mineral resources include the construction of roads and general roads. The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 10 years.

The Environment Agency examined the application for authorisation to exploit mineral resources in order to comply with the requirements laid down in the Mineral oil Act. That application complied with the form of order sought.

The application for authorisation to exploit mineral resources and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest Office of the Environment Agency (+372 674 4803, info@keskkonnaamet.ee).
The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to an application for authorisation to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.

The preparation of the draft decision granting or refusing the mining permit shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
