Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation to exploit the mineral resources of the Kingl III gravel quarry submitted by OÜ PTK grave (registry code: 14062217) (address: builders tee 33-33, Tallinn 12612) has been accepted.

Authorisation to exploit mineral resources is sought in the municipality of Laimjala on the land of Tammik in the municipality of Laimjala (cadastral title 38601:001:0005). The property of Tammik is owned by OÜ PTK Gravel. There is a Kingl gravel deposit in the area applied for (registration card No 0822).

The area of the mountain allocation applied for is 13.58 ha and that of the service area of the mountain allocation is 18.77 ha. According to the authorisation for the extraction of mineral resources, the active consumption of the building gravel for the mining reserves is 313 thousand m ³ and the extracted reserves are 306 thousand m ³. An average annual extraction rate of 22 thousand m ³ is requested. The exploitation of mineral resources consists of the construction of roads and roads and aggregates. The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 15 years.

The Environment Agency examined the application for authorisation to exploit mineral resources in order to comply with the requirements laid down in the Mineral oil Act. That application complied with the form of order sought.

The application for authorisation to exploit mineral resources and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest Office of the Environment Agency (+372 674 4803, info@keskkonnaamet.ee).
The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.

The preparation of the draft decision granting or refusing the mining permit shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
