The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that THE application for authorisation to EXPLOIT mineral resources submitted by RONK OÜ (registry code: 11005130) (address: Järvekalda tee 1 1, Harkujärve village, Harku Municipality, Harju County, 76902) has been accepted.

Mineral extraction permit is applied for in Western Nigula, Vidruka village, on site 5 of Piirsalu (cadastral identification 77601:003:0296). The owner of the Tammik estate is the Republic of Estonia, the Government Ministry of Environment and the approved body is the State Riigimetsa Majandamise Keskus. The area applied for is situated at Lakenõmme's sandy deposit (registry card No 0473).

The mountain allocation applied for is the sand quarry of Lakenõmme II, which has an area of 17.96 ha and a catchment area. According to the Mining authorisation, the active consumption of the building gravel of the mining deposit is 287 thousand m ³ and the extracted stock is 284 thousand m ³ and the active consumption of the building sand is 515 thousand m3, of which 477 thousand m3 are mined. An average annual extraction rate of 55 thousand m ³ is requested. Mineral uses include construction and road construction. The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 15 years.

The Environment Agency examined the application for authorisation to exploit mineral resources in order to comply with the requirements laid down in the Mineral oil Act. That application complied with the form of order sought.

The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.

The preparation of the draft decision granting or refusing the mining permit shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
