The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).
The Environment Agency reports that Lemminkäinen Eesti AS (registry code: 10114029) (address: betooni tn 28, Tallinn, Harju County, 11415) submitted an application for amendment of Mineral Mining permit No HARM-126.
Lemminkäinen Eesti AS is seeking the extension of the mountain allocation of a Rõõsa deposit of sandy quarry to adjacent mineral blocks 4, 5 and 8.
The sandy pasture is located in the town of Kose, Harju district, in the village of Kose, in the state-owned cadastral area of the sandstone quarry (33801:001:0270), managed by the Ministry of the Environment and the land authority. The area of the Mount reserve to be altered is 2.75 hectares and the area of the Mount reserve is 3.13 hectares.
As of 30.06.2017, within the requested mountain allocation, the active consumption of building sand is 94 thousand m3, of which 56 thousand m3 are mined, while the active consumption of aggregate sand is 62 thousand m3, of which 48 thousand m3 are mined. The average annual rate of mineral extraction is requested to be 55 h m3. The period of validity of the amended permit shall be until 26.09.2019.
The application for authorisation to exploit mineral resources and other relevant documents can be consulted at the Office of the Environment Agency (+372 674 4804, info@keskkonnaamet.ee).
The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.
Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.
The preparation of the draft decision granting or refusing the mining permit shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
