The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the request submitted by Level (registry code: 10216072) (address: long 69, city of Kuressaare, island Region, 93815) and OÜ Agnus Grupp (registry code 10839494, address Lossipark 4, city of Kuressaare, island Region, 93813) to amend the mining authorisation L.MM/300509 for the gravel quarry of Ooremaa IV has been accepted.

The gravel quarry of Oriental land IV is located in the municipality of Western Island in the village of Nõmpa on the Jüri estate (cadastral mark 37301:001:0532). Jüri's property is owned by the joint stock company Level. There is an Ooremaa gravel deposit in the area applied for (registration card No 132).

The mountain allocation has an area of 8,07 ha and a service area of 10,87 ha. As of 30.06.2017, the building gravel quarry associated with the mountain allocation of the Ooremaa IV gravel quarry is 29,554 thousand m3, the building sand ice quarry is 110,39 thousand m3 and the fill sand ice quark is 35,683 thousand m3. The average annual rate of mineral extraction is 30 thousand m ³. Mineral resources are used in general and road construction. The purpose of the proposed request is to extend the authorisation for 15 years and to change the identity of the holder and the mining operator of the mineral extraction permit.

The Environment Agency examined the application for authorisation to exploit mineral resources in order to comply with the requirements laid down in the Mineral oil Act. That application complied with the form of order sought.
