The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).

The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation to prospect for the Valistre II exploration room submitted by the OÜ of Mineral resources (registry code: 14212964) (address: Kuusiku tee 18-13, Loo alevik, Municipality of Jõelähtme, 74201 Harju County) on 12.10.2017 (registered under document management system No 12-2/17/11705 of the Environment Agency) has been accepted.
The geological survey is requested in Pärnu County, Are, in the village of Eavere, on a state-owned property, Halinga district 41 (cadastral title 14901:002:0294), the management of which is the Ministry of the Environment and the authorised authority of the State Riigimetsa Majandamise Keskus. The area covered by the requested survey room is 57,83 ha. The purpose of the study is to conduct a consumption inventory survey to determine the distribution of mineral resources (lime and dolomite), the thickness of the useful layer, the quality and the extraction conditions in order to assess the quantity of mineral resources as an active commercial resource for which mining permission could be sought. The study plans to build up up to 17 exploration voids and up to 34 wells with a depth of up to 25 m; other planned ad hoc work: laboratory tests, topogogodetic measurements; hydrogeological test work: water level measurements and, where appropriate, other test work. The study is carried out by the Mineral resources OÜ (registry code 14212964, address Kuusiku tee 18-13, Loo alevik, Municipality of Jõelähtme, 74201 Harju County). The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 2 years.

The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse a permit for prospecting, any person shall have the right to submit to the Environment Agency reasoned proposals and objections to the application. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the louna@keskkonnaamet.ee e-mail address or to the postal address Paala tee 4, 71014 iljandi.

The draft decision to grant or refuse authorisation for prospecting shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
