Notice of suspension of commercial fishing

The Maaeluministeerium publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 49(2) and (4) of the Law on fishing (KPS).
The Secretary of State for Rural Affairs shall, pursuant to paragraph 49(1) of the KPS, suspend salmon fishing in ICES sub-division 32 on the basis of a fishing authorisation issued by the Republic of Estonia. The Circular shall apply to persons carrying out fishing activities for salmon in ICES sub-division 32 on the basis of a fisherman's fishing authorisation, from the day following that of its publication in the Official Teadaanded of the European Communities.
Fishing has been suspended since 14.11.2017.
