Notice of initiation of a prospecting permit procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).
The Environment Agency States that the request submitted by Osaühing Eesti Klustik (registry code: 10126848) (address River 3, 10151 Tallinn) on 23.10.2017 to amend authorisation No L.MU/328642 for the Geological Survey OF the Sohlu Research room (registered under document Management system No 12-2/17/12324 of the Environment Agency) has been accepted.
According to the request for amendment of the geological enquiry permit No L.MU/328642, an increase is sought in the area of the enquiry room and in the number of underground exploration cavities. The area of the current Sohlu trial room is 21,30 ha and the number of allowed trial runs is limited to 20, the area of the trial room is proposed to be 55,80 ha and the number of trial runs is proposed to be up to 60.
The requested Sohlu research room is located in the municipality of Vändra, Pärnu, on state-owned properties in the village of Sohlu, Vändra district 48 (cadastral title 27601:002:0061) and Vändra district 43 (cadastral title 27601:003:0168), the management of which is the Ministry of the Environment and the authorised authority of the State Riigimetsa Majandamise Keskus. The requested test room consists of two solvent units, the total area served by the test room being 55,80 ha.
The application for authorisation to prospect and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest Office of the Environment Agency (+372 674 4803, info@keskkonnaamet.ee).
The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.
Until such time as a decision is taken to modify or refuse to modify an authorisation for prospecting, any person shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the louna@keskkonnaamet.ee e-mail address or to the postal address Paala Tea 4, 71014 Viljandi.
The draft decision to modify or refuse to modify a permit for prospecting shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
