Notice of initiation of a prospecting permit procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).
The Environment Agency reports that the application for authorisation to prospect submitted by the Mineral resources OÜ (registry code: 14212964) (address: Kuusiku tee 18-13, Loo alevik, Jõelähtme Municipality, Harju County, 74201) was accepted (application registered under document management system of the Environment Agency 01.12.2017 No 12-2/17/13510).
An application for a geological permit for a tika II exploration room is made in the village of Maidla, County of Märjamaa, in the cadastral block of the Attica sand quarry (cadastral mark 42701:002:0930) in the land of Maidla (registry card No 0043). The land is owned by the Republic of Estonia, managed by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications and the Maanteeamet is the authorised authority.
The area covered by the requested survey room is 25.79 ha. This is a consumable inventory study, which plans to build up up to 30 exploration voids and up to 30 wells. The exploration depth is up to 15 m. the resources to be studied are sand and gravel. The area of application of the mineral resources present in the exploration room is construction and road construction and maintenance. The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 2 years. The study is carried out by the Mineral resources OÜ.
The application for a geological survey permit and other relevant documents can be consulted at the Office of the Environment Agency Rapla (Tallinna mnt 14, 79513, Rapla; laane@keskkonnaamet.ee; 484 1182).
The application shall be digitally accessible from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/
until a decision on the granting or refusal of a permit for prospecting has been taken, everyone shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to an e-mail address at the laane@keskkonnaamet.ee or postal address Tallinna mnt 14, 79513, Rapla.
The draft prospecting permit shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
