The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).

The Environment Agency States that the APPLICATION for authorisation to prospect FOR the Lepkaved exploration room submitted by OÜ SOKKEL Holding (registry code: 12245586) (address: Lonni, village of Purku, Municipality of Raikküla, 78401 Rapla County) on 13.11.2017 (corrected application under document management system of the registered Environment Agency No 12-2/17/12968-3) has been accepted.
The geological survey is requested in the villages of Rütavere, Kilksama and Kvõlla in Pärnu, district of Taal 66 (title 14902:003:0231), Taal district 53 (title 73001:007:0241) and Taal district 54 (title 73001:007:0239), the management of State funds being the Ministry of the Environment and the authorised authority of the State Forest Management Centre. The test room applied for consists of three solvent units, the total area served by the test room being 620.80 ha. The purpose of the study is to conduct a consumption inventory survey to determine the distribution of mineral resources (sand, gravel), the thickness of the useful layer, the quality and the extraction conditions in order to assess the quantity of mineral resources as an active consumable resource for which mining permission could be sought. The study plans to build up up to 379 exploration outlets and up to 379 drilling outlets with a depth of up to 15 m; other planned ad hoc work: laboratory work, topographical surveying. The survey is carried out by Mäebüroo Nord OÜ (registry code 11560452, address Pärnu Mnt 232, Kristiine district, 11314 Tallinn). The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 5 years.

The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse a permit for prospecting, any person shall have the right to submit to the Environment Agency reasoned proposals and objections to the application. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the louna@keskkonnaamet.ee e-mail address or to the postal address Paala tee 4, 71014 iljandi.

The draft decision to grant or refuse authorisation for prospecting shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
