The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation to extract mineral resources from as silicate (registry code: 10022296) (address Silikaltsiidi tn 8, Tallinn, Harju County 11216) has been accepted.
Authorisation to exploit mineral resources is sought in Viljandi, municipality of Viljandi, in Järtsaare, for a state-owned cadastral estate (cadastral mark 32801:001:0960).
There is a Pihlaka deposit in the area applied for (registry card 0766).

The mountain allocation applied for is described as a pasture of Pihlaka sandy, with an area of 18.04 ha and an area of 18.04 ha for the mountain allocation. According to the application for authorisation for the extraction of mineral resources, the amount of active consumption of mining sand is 2 216 thousand m ³ and the stock to be extracted is 1 684 thousand m ³. The maximum annual mining rate is requested to be 120 thousand m ³. The exploitation of mineral resources is civil and road construction. The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 15 years.

The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. The preparation of the draft mining permit will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
