The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).

The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation to prospect for mineral resources submitted by Makita quarries OÜ (registry code: 12937396) (address Tartu County, Elva City, Jaani tn 2, 61504) in the Neeruti experimental room VIII has been accepted.
The geological survey is requested in the municipality of Otepää, Valga, in the village of Neerut, for the State-owned cadastral district of Neeruti (cadastral Identifier 58202:003:0010). The area covered by the requested survey room is 3.01 ha. This is a consumable stock survey, which plans to build up up to 12 wells and up to 12 exploration cavities. The exploration depth is less than or equal to 10 m. the resources to be studied are sand and gravel. The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 2 years. The name of the enquiry room shall be the enquiry room VIII of Neerut. The study is carried out by Maavarauuringud OÜ.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse a permit for prospecting, any person shall have the right to submit to the Environment Agency reasoned proposals and objections to the application. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the info@keskkonnaamet.ee e-mail address or to the postal address Kolga TEE 28, 67305 Otepää.

The draft prospecting permit shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
