The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).

The Environment Agency States that THE application FOR A KIVIKANDUR OÜ (registry code: 11200972) (address Harju County, Harku Municipality, Harkujärve village, Järvekalda tee 1) has been accepted. The exploration licence is applied for in the village of Kaasiko (cadastritrile mark 40001:001:0021), a property owned by a private individual, in the village of Kõrveküla in the municipality of Tapa, Lääne-Viru. The area covered by the requested survey room is 7.73 ha. The requested area of the exploration room is entirely the same as that of the Maltese II gravel quarry with a valid mining permit (permit No L.MK/319472; permit holder Kivikandur OÜ) and its catchment area. This is a consumable stock survey, which plans to build up up up to 15 wells and exploration voids. The exploration depth is up to 10 m. the surveyed minerals are gravel and sand, the potential uses of which are construction, road construction and filler soil. The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 3 years. The name of the test room shall be the Maleva IX test room.

The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation for a prospecting operation, any person shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to an e-mail address in info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to a postal address at garage 2, 48306 Jõgeva.

The draft prospecting permit shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
