Notice of initiation of a prospecting permit procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).
The Environment Agency States that the request submitted by Kalda Kivi OÜ (registry code: 12512320) (address Pargi tn 22-8, Kadrina Province, West-Viru Region 45201) for amendment of authorisation to prospect for mineral resources No L.MU/327420 (also referred to as the exploration authorisation) has been accepted. According to that authorisation for prospecting, Kalda Kivi OÜ is authorised to carry out a geological survey in the Noonu prospecting room in the region of West Viru, in the municipality of Haljala (formerly the municipality of Vihula), in the village of Noonu, in the land of Kalda (cadastral mark 88702:002:0102). The area of the test room is 9.16 ha. The noon's enquiry room does not overlap with the stock on the invoice. The mineral resources under consideration are building limestone. The purpose of the geological survey is to explain in the Noonu exploration room the distribution of mineral resources, the thickness of the useful layer, the quality and the extraction conditions at a level that would allow the stock to be confirmed as a consumable stock. In the course of the geological survey, it is planned to establish up to 20 wells with a depth of up to 20 m. under prospecting permit L.MU/327420, the period of validity of the permit is 2 years, from 21.03.2016.a to 21.03.2018.a. Kivi OÜ of kalda seeks an extension of the period of validity of the permit by 3 years, that is to say, until 21.03.2021 a.

The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.
Until such time as a decision is taken to modify or refuse to modify a permit for prospecting, any person shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to an e-mail address in info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to a postal address at garage 2, 48306 Jõgeva.
The draft amendment to the geological survey permit shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
