Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).
The Environment Agency States that the application for modification OF the mining permit SUBMITTED by THE public limited company PRELVEX (registry code: 10347224) (address: Järva County, Municipality of Türi, Türi City, Tehnika tn 3, 72213) was accepted.
The request for amendment of the mining permit for the peat production site of retla is made in Järva County, Türi, Kabala village, Retla peat field (registry card number 0076), Cadastral parcel Retla peat production area (cadastritus number 27101:004:2310), owned by the Republic of Estonia, managed by the Ministry of the Environment and authorised by the Earth Authority. Existing authorisation No JARM-2/2003 expires on 20.12.2019. In the course of the amendment of the authorisation, it is proposed that the period of validity of the authorisation be extended for a further period of 30 years. Within the cadastral boundaries, the boundaries of the earth's earth reserve are also slightly adjusted.
The area covered by the mountain allocation for the peat production area of rette is, according to the application, 159.84 ha and the area covered by the mountain allocation is 190.03 ha. According to the request for an amendment to the authorisation for the extraction of mineral resources, the low-depleted peat in mining is an active consumption of 106 thousand t and the 106 thousand t to be mined; the active consumption of well-decomposed peat is 510 thousand t and the 453 thousand t to be mined. the mining of mineral resources is requested to have a maximum annual mining rate of 21 thousand t. the fields of exploitation are horticulture and energy. Authorisation shall be sought for a period of 30 years.

until a decision is taken to amend or refuse to modify the mining permit, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to an e-mail address at the laane@keskkonnaamet.ee or postal address Tallinna mnt 14, 79513, Rapla.
The draft decision amending the mining permit will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
