Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the application for mining authorisation submitted by OÜ SOKKEL HOLDING (registry code: 12245586) (address: Regione Rapla, Municipality of Rapla, village Purku, Lonni, 78401) was accepted.

The authorisation for the exploitation of the mineral resources of a gravel quarry is requested for the land parcels Niimaru (Katastritraitunnus 29203:001:0522), 2921031 Niimaru road L3 (Katastrasitraidus 29201:001:0602), Kehtna trastrashiidus (003:003:0522), Kkatastraskatrauidus (2921031), Niimaru road L3 (Katastritraidus 293:003:00itraid.

According to the application, the area covered by the mountain allocation for the Ahepónoma gravel quarry applied for is 23.75 ha and the area covered by the mountain allocation is 29.99 ha. According to the application for authorisation for the extraction of mineral resources, the active consumption of the building gravel for the mining reserves is 736 thousand m3 and the extracted reserves are 664 thousand m3. The active consumption of aggregate sand in the mountain allocation is 438 thousand m3 and the extracted stock is 383 thousand m3. According to the application, the average annual rate for the extraction of mineral resources is 75 thousand m3. The exploitation of mineral resources consists of road construction, general construction and aggregates. Authorisation shall be sought for a period of 15 years.

until a decision is taken on the granting or refusal of mining authorisation, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to an e-mail address at the laane@keskkonnaamet.ee or postal address Tallinna mnt 14, 79513, Rapla.

The preparation of the draft mining permit will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the official publication Ametlikud Teadaanded.
