The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).

The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation to prospect for the exploration room in Kamal IV submitted by the Mineral resources OÜ (registry code: 14212964) (address: Kuusiku tee 18-13, Loo alevik, Municipality of Jõelähtme, 74201 Harju County) on 07.02.2018 (registered under document management system of the Environment Agency No 07.02.2018 No 12-2/18/1932) has been accepted.
The application for a geological survey shall be made for land owned by the State in the village of Kamal in Pärnu, County Saarland, Canaküla district 17 (cadastral code 71101:004:0177), Canaküla district 5 (cadastral code 71101:004:0151) and Canaküla district 16 (cadastral code 71101:004:0176), the management of which is the Ministry of the Environment and the authorised authority of the State Forest Management Centre. The area covered by the requested survey room is 23.18 ha. The purpose of the study is to conduct a mineral consumption survey to determine the distribution of mineral resources (sand, gravel), the thickness of the useful layer, the quality and the extraction conditions in order to assess the quantity of mineral resources as an active commercial resource for which mining permission could be sought. The studies plan to build up up to 30 exploration outlets and up to 30 drilling outlets with a depth of up to 20 m; other planned ad hoc work: laboratory tests, topogogo-detic measurements, water level measurements and, where appropriate, other test activities. The study is carried out by the Mineral resources OÜ (registry code 14212964, address Kuusiku tee 18-13, Loo alevik, Municipality of Jõelähtme, 74201 Harju County). The period of validity applied for is 2 years.

The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse a permit for prospecting, any person shall have the right to submit to the Environment Agency reasoned proposals and objections to the application. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the louna@keskkonnaamet.ee e-mail address or to the postal address Paala tee 4, 71014 iljandi.

The draft decision to grant or refuse authorisation for prospecting shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
