The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the request for extension of Mineral Mining permit No HIIM-018 submitted by as Tariston (registry code: 10887843) (address Pärnu mnt 158/1, Tallinn 11317) has been accepted.

The extension of the mining permit is requested in Hiiu County, in the municipality of Hiiumaa, in Villamaa village, for a quarry (cadastritID 39201:002:1360) administered by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications and the Government Road Administration. The area applied for is the Pusk sandy deposit (registry card No 0778).

The term “Prolongable mountain allocation” is the Pusk sand quarry, with an area of 5,58 ha for the mountain allocation and its catchment area. As of 19.02.2018, the amount of active consumption of building sand in mining reserves is 78,6 thousand m ³ and the amount of excavated reserves is 78,6 thousand m ³. The average annual rate of mineral extraction is 15 thousand m ³. Mineral resources are used for the construction and repair of roads. The extension of the mining permit is requested for 10 years.

until the decision to extend or refuse to renew the mining permit is taken, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the application to the Environment Agency. The preparation of the draft extension of the mining permit will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
