The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).

The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation to prospect for mineral resources made by MetsPuu Group (registry code: 11049647) (address: Western Viru County, Rakvere Municipality, Taaravainu village, Künka tee 5, 44420) has been accepted. The geological survey is requested in the district of Ida-Viru, in the municipality of Alutagus, in the village of Kurtna, for the cadastral parcel Kopli belonging to MetsPuu Group (cadastral Identifier 22901:001:0030). The area covered by the requested survey room is 4.71 ha. This is a sand consumables survey, which plans to build up up to 10 wells and up to 15 exploration wells. The investigation depth shall be no more than 7 m. the period of validity of the permit applied for shall be 2 years. The test room is called the Kurtna test room. The survey is carried out by Maavarauuringud OÜ (registry code: 14346587).

The Environment Agency checked that the application for authorisation of the geological survey complied with the requirements laid down in the Mineral Act and the environmental impact assessment and Management system Act. That application complied with the form of order sought.

Access to the application for a geological survey permit and other relevant documents shall be available at the nearest Office of the Environment Agency
. the application shall be digitally accessible in the http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/ document management system of the Environment Agency until

the decision to grant or refuse a geological survey permit is taken, everyone shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn, tel 5698 0504.

The draft prospecting permit shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
