Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the application for mining authorisation submitted by OÜ Šeiker teed (registry code: 14040730) (address: Regione Rapla, Municipality of Kohila, village of Sutlema, Metsapunkt tee 7, 79710) was accepted.

Authorisation to exploit the mineral resources of a tika gravel quarry is sought for the land registry units Aama (cadastral identification 42701:002:0014), privately owned, in the Tika of Maidla in the County of Märjamaa (registry card 0043).

According to the application, the size of the mountain allocation for the Tika quarry in respect of which registration is sought is 9.99 hectares and that of the service area for the mountain allocation is 13.28 hectares. According to the application for authorisation for the extraction of mineral resources, the active consumption of the building gravel for the mining reserves is 237 thousand m3 and the extractable reserves are 213 thousand m3. The active consumption of the filling cruise on the mountain deposit is 98 thousand m3 and the extracted stock is 90 thousand m3. According to the application, the average annual rate of mineral extraction is 20 thousand m3. Mineral uses include construction and road construction. Authorisation shall be sought for a period of 15 years.

until a decision is taken on the granting or refusal of mining authorisation, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to an e-mail address at the info@keskkonnaamet.ee or postal address Tallinna mnt 14, 79513, Rapla.

The preparation of the draft mining permit will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the official publication Ametlikud Teadaanded.
