Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the aktsiaselts KIIRKANDUR FOR extension of THE validity of mining permit No Rapm-059 (Sutlema I's Harkujärve quarry) submitted by the public limited company express carrier (registry code: 10111516) (address Harju County, Harku Municipality, Harkujärvi village, Lake Sea Road 1, 76902) was accepted.

Closure of the limestone quarry I is located in the municipality of Kohila in the village of Lümandu at Sutlema's limestone deposit (registry card No 0832) on the cadastral division Ambus's gravel quarry (cadastral mark No 31701:001:0153). The cadastral parcel is owned by the Republic of Estonia, managed by the Ministry of the Environment and authorised authority is the Earth Authority.

The area covered by the mountain deposit of the limestone quarry I is 6,14 ha and the area covered by the mountain deposit is 8,49 ha. Closure of the Mountain allocation of the limestone quarry I is fully covered by the active consumption 1 block of the Sutlema limestone building limestone, which, as of 31.12.2017, has an inventory of 406,874 thousand m3 in the deposits Register of the Environment. The mining permit is valid until 06.04.2019 and is to be extended for 15 years (or until 06.04.2034) in accordance with paragraph 67(1) of the Subsurface Act.

The application for authorisation to exploit mineral resources and other relevant documents can be consulted at the Office of the Environment Agency Rapla (Tallinna mnt 14, 79513, Rapla; info@keskkonnaamet.ee; 484 1182 or 56885603).
The application is made available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/

until a decision is taken to amend or refuse to modify the mining permit, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to an e-mail address at the info@keskkonnaamet.ee or postal address Tallinna mnt 14, 79513, Rapla.

The draft decision amending the mining permit will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
